Six drones flew into Moldova at night, one of them fell on roof of house

On the night of November 25, six drones were recorded over Moldova. It is noted that one of the drones - the Shahed type - further crossed the border with Romania. In addition, one of the UAVs fell on the roof of a house.

Thus, according to the Moldovan Ministry of Defense, six unmanned aerial vehicles were recorded in the airspace of Moldova at night, which crossed the state border without authorization.

The department said that the first Shahed drone was noticed when it was flying at an altitude of about 1,500 m in the direction of Vynohradivka - Vulcanesti, after which it crossed the border with Romania - a NATO member state - in the Cahul district. After that, the surveillance systems of the National Army of Moldova recorded five more drones that crossed the country's airspace in five different districts.

"One of them fell on the roof of a house in the village of Nizhnii Cuguresti, Floreshti district," the ministry added.

The agency assured that it was keeping the situation under control, urging citizens not to touch objects that fell from the sky and to immediately report such incidents to the authorities.

According to law enforcement officials, the drone fell on a watchman's house in the village of Nizhnii Cuguresti in northern Moldova. Special services were dispatched to the scene and the area was cordoned off.

In addition, during another russian attack on Ukraine, one of the enemy drones flew into Romanian airspace, and an hour later, radars recorded a second violation of the border.
