Tusk shows place of sabotage on railroad in Poland
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk arrived at the scene of the explosion on the railroad tracks and confirmed that it was a sabotage. Tusk announced this on his X-account on Monday, November 17.
"This is for sure. We are dealing with an act of sabotage," the Prime Minister emphasized.
Polish media outlet Onet reported that a meeting of ministers and heads of services has begun at the Ministry of Interior and Administration in connection with the events. In addition to the head of the ministry, Marcin Kierwiński, the meeting is attended by the Minister of Justice, Prosecutor General Waldemar Żurek, Minister-Coordinator of Special Services Tomasz Siemoniak and the leadership of the services responsible for state security.
According to the National Security Bureau, President Karol Nawrocki keeps the information under his personal control.
"In connection with the detected, deliberate and sabotage damage to the railway infrastructure on line No. 7 (Warsaw-Dorohusk), the National Security Bureau is collecting and verifying information about these incidents," the National Security Bureau reported on X.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that on Sunday, November 16, there was damage to the track on the Dęblin-Warsaw railway line, which led to a complete halt in train traffic.
