Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff set tasks for expanding geography of long-range strikes

On Monday, October 27, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the, at which, in particular, tasks were set for expanding the geography of long-range strikes. Zelenskyy announced this on his Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Held a Staff. The main topic was our capabilities for long-range sanctions against russia. Weapons manufacturers and everyone responsible for its use were present. We analyzed the effectiveness of our long-range strikes for a certain period, the results achieved. Russian "oil refining" is already paying a tangible price for the war and will pay even more. We set tasks for expanding the geography of application of our long-range strikes," he said.

Zelenskyy also said that Ukraine is working with manufacturers for long-term contracts.

"The three-year term allows the manufacturer to better plan the use of necessary resources and scale up supplies to the troops. The number of such contracts concluded will be greater," he noted.

The Staff also had reports on russian strikes against Ukrainian infrastructure and energy facilities, identified new defense needs and tasks for working with partners on directions in the supply of air defense.

"The partners have the necessary systems, and it is important that Ukrainian diplomacy prepares appropriate solutions more actively," Zelenskyy stressed.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 23, Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine has never used US long-range weapons on russian territory and has its own long-range capabilities of up to 3,000 kilometers.

Zelenskyy also reported that international partners are delaying the financing necessary for the production of Ukrainian Flamingo cruise missiles.
