Polish UNIMOT enters Ukrainian energy market
Polish concern UNIMOT will expand its activities in Ukraine at the expense of the electric power industry.
Adam Sikorski, founder and CEO of the concern, told enkorr this during a Polish-Ukrainian business breakfast in Kyiv, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Sikorski noted that the planned projects include the creation of a solar power plant and energy storage system, as well as the restoration of damaged energy infrastructure facilities within the framework of international projects.
So, one of the companies of the UNIMOT Ukraine group will implement the program in Ukraine
"I believe that now is the right time to invest in Ukraine," Adam Sikorski said.
As part of the event, the company signed a cooperation agreement with Eco-Optima, a major provider of renewable energy solutions.
The report says that in addition to the petroleum products market, UNIMOT is an active player in the Polish electricity and natural gas markets, as well as a supplier of energy equipment.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in mid-June, import of A-98/100 set a historical record.
Sales to Ukrainian traders have also been growing at UNIMOT for two months in a row.
In May, the Polish holding shipped 390 tons of A-98, which is almost twice as much as in April.
