British intelligence names RF losses since beginning of year and for entire period of full-scale war
Since the beginning of 2025, the losses of the army of the aggressor country of russia amounted to 332,000 people killed and wounded. The UK Ministry of Defense reported this in its intelligence review.
According to British intelligence, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the russians have lost 1.118 million people killed and wounded.
British intelligence also spoke about the daily losses of the russian army. During 2022, the occupiers lost from 172 to 559 people daily.
In 2023, this figure ranged from 701 to 967 people per day. In June 2024, the daily losses of the russian army exceeded 1,000 people. The record was December 2024, when the average daily losses of the russian army amounted to 1,570 people.
This year, the average daily losses of the russian army have been decreasing for eight months (from 1,556 in January to 931 in August). At the same time, in September they increased slightly, amounting to 950 people.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 3, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that in September the losses of the russian army amounted to more than 28,000 people. This is equivalent to the number of almost three motorized rifle divisions.
Recall, on August 1, US President Donald Trump stated that since the beginning of the year Ukraine has lost 14 times fewer soldiers than russia.
And on July 25, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that the russian army is paying with the lives of about a thousand soldiers every day for the attempted "summer offensive".
