This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU).
"Zaporizhzhia: while eliminating the consequences of the russian strike, rescuers came under repeated shelling by the occupiers," the report says.
One SESU employee was injured in the attack - he received a closed craniocerebral trauma, a mine-explosive injury, as well as bruises to the spine and knee joint.
In addition, fire and rescue equipment was damaged.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, meanwhile, on the night of October 9-10, the russian army carried out a massive air attack on Ukraine. The main target was energy infrastructure in several regions of the country.
Due to the massive combined shelling by the russian federation on the Zaporizhzhia Region, calls were made for economical gas consumption.
Ambassadors of the G7 countries (USA, Great Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Canada and Japan) held an urgent meeting with the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Svitlana Hrynchuk and representatives of the energy and gas sector to discuss the attack by the aggressor country of russia.
