Russians receives order to storm positions of Defense Forces at any cost - Zelenskyy after Maliuk's report

On Wednesday, October 8, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a working meeting with the head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) Vasyl Maliuk on the combat work of the special service. The head of state reported this on his Telegram channel.

Thus, during the meeting, Vasyl Maliuk reported on the results of long-range strikes carried out by the SSU forces.

"It is important that Ukrainian long-range drone missiles demonstrate greater effectiveness. We also have significant results in the destruction of russian air defense complexes," Zelenskyy emphasized.

Separately, the President noted the soldiers of the Center of Special Operations "A" of the SSU, who are carrying out active operations in the Pokrovsk Axis.

"We note that the russian troops received an order to storm our positions at any cost. Accordingly, the level of russian losses has increased significantly. Only our SSU soldiers and only in the Pokrovsk Axis are now destroying more than 100 occupiers per day, and this is without taking into account the results of the actions of soldiers of other components of our Defense and Security Forces. In total, over the past month, soldiers of the Center of Special Operations "A" of the SSU eliminated 3,028 occupiers - we have the appropriate verification for each of them," he noted.

Zelenskyy also added that the SSU continues to work on destroying russian agent networks.

"I also approved our operations, which are aimed at reducing the russian military potential. I thank all the soldiers involved," the President summed up.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in early October, long-range strike drones of the Center of Special Operations "A" of the SSU once again hit a target at a distance of 1,400 km - this time in a settlement with the telling name Orsk. Hit was burning at the Orsknefteorgsintez oil refinery in the Orenburg Oblast of the russian federation.
