Hungary blocks access to 12 Ukrainian news sites

Hungary has blocked access to twelve Ukrainian news sites. Budapest said it was a response to Ukraine's decision to block Hungarian Internet resources that were spreading propaganda for the aggressor country, russia.

This was reported today, September 29, by the Minister of the Office of the Prime Minister of Hungary, Hergei Gulyash.

According to him, Ukraine blocked Hungarian news sites that "were critical of the policy of sanctions against russia, of armed support for Ukraine."

"Adhering to the principle of reciprocity, Hungary today introduces appropriate measures against Ukrainian news portals, as a result of which they will become inaccessible on the territory of Hungary," Gulyash wrote.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, yesterday, September 28, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine responded to the words of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Economy and Foreign Affairs of Hungary, who advised Ukraine to give up the territories for the sake of peace.

And on September 27, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban addressed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, urging him to "stop touching us."
