General Staff shows flight route of UAV that flew in from Hungary on September 26

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed the flight route of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), which twice flew into Ukrainian airspace from Hungary on September 26.

The General Staff published the image on its Telegram channel.

The unknown UAV was recorded by radar equipment of the Air Forces of Ukraine on the morning of September 26.

"A drone-type aerial object was recorded flying over the territory of the Zakarpattia Region twice at different altitudes," the message says.

In order to eliminate the potential threat, the Ukrainian military raised the Chaklun-KM drone into the sky, which was patrolling the sky over the Uzhhorod District.

It is unclear whether it was the same drone or whether two UAVs were launched from Hungary.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on September 26, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that reconnaissance drones had flown into Ukrainian airspace from Hungary.

Budapest responded to this with a statement that actually insulted the Ukrainian leader.
