Air defense forces neutralize 132 drones at night, 9 strike UAV hits recorded - Air Forces

On the night of September 22, russia attacked with 141 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type and drones of other types from the directions: Kursk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - russia, Chauda - TOT of Crimea, about 80 of them - Shaheds. The air defense of Ukraine neutralized 132 of them. This is reported by the Air Forces on Telegram.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

"According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 a.m., air defense systems shot down/suppressed 132 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types in the north, south, east and center of the country. Hits of 9 attack UAVs were recorded at 7 locations, as well as the fall of downed (fragments) at 8 locations," the report says.

In addition, from 4 to 6 am on September 22, the enemy carried out an air strike on the infrastructure of the city of Zaporizhzhia. Launches of KABs from enemy tactical aircraft from the area of ​​the city of Tokmak – TOT of the Zaporizhzhia Region – were recorded. Unfortunately, there are deaths and injuries.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, as a result of a russian drone attack on the night of September 22, fires broke out in the Kyiv Region, a man born in 1993 was injured, and the consequences of the drone strike were recorded in 4 districts of the region.

In the Chernihiv Region, the russians repeatedly fired on medics and police officers who arrived at the site of the drone strike.

On the night of September 20 (from 8:00 p.m. on September 19), the enemy launched a combined strike on the territory of Ukraine using strike UAVs, air- and ground-based missiles.
