Trump and Zelenskyy may meet next week in New York – Rubio

The leader of the United States of America, Donald Trump, will probably meet with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy next week in New York. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has announced this in a comment to journalists in Israel, lbcgroup reports.

Thus, Rubio told reporters that Trump still hopes to reach a peace agreement with the participation of russian dictator vladimir putin.

He added that Trump had "multiple calls with Putin, multiple meetings with Zelenskyy, including probably next week again in New York", where the leaders will gather for the UN General Assembly.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the day before, US President Donald Trump said that he did not rule out organizing a meeting between the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the russian dictator vladimir putin, but admitted that doing so would not be easy.
