Russia hit Ukraine with Iskander. It was not shot down
On the night of Saturday, September 13, russian troops launched an Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile and 164 drones over the territory of Ukraine, and air defense forces managed to neutralize 137 UAVs.
The press service of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of September 13 (from 8 p.m. on September 12), the enemy attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile and 164 Shahed, Gerbera strike UAVs and drones of other types from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all - russian federation), about 90 of them were Shaheds.
"According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m., air defenses shot down/suppressed 137 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera and other types in the north, south, east and center of the country," the report says.
Missile hits and 27 strike UAVs were recorded at 9 locations, and downed ones (fragments) fell at 3 locations.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of September 12, the russians launched 40 drones over Ukraine, and air defense forces neutralized 33 of them.
