British Defense Minister visits British Council damaged by russian airstrike in Kyiv

Today, September 3, British Defense Minister John Healey is on a visit to Ukraine. In Kyiv, he visited the British Council building damaged by russian shelling on the night of August 28.

The British Ministry of Defense reported this on X.

"We will not jeopardize the peace by forgetting about the war. A war Putin continues to wage. Today in Kyiv the Defence Secretary John Healey saw first hand the damage inflicted on the British Council building by Russian strikes last week, some of the deadliest of the war," the report says.

We will remind, earlier, Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal congratulated Healey on his arrival in Ukraine.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the British Council building was damaged by a russian attack on the night of August 28. A British Council guard was injured during the russian attack on Kyiv.
