AMCU fines BRSM network for almost UAH 1 million for violating competition
On August 29, 2025, the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU) at its meeting decided to fine LLC Classic-Form, part of the BRSM group, in the amount of UAH 996,002 for violating the legislation on the protection of economic competition, provided for by Clause 12 of Article 50 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Protection of Economic Competition", in the form of concentration by acquiring assets in the form of a single property complex of a gas station complex without obtaining permission from the regulator.
This is stated in the AMCU's message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The message states that this concerns seven gas stations and a complex of non-residential buildings acquired without proper permission.
Namely: three gas stations and non-residential buildings at LLC Nafta Capital Group, which belonged to the Trade Commodity group and operated under the SKY brand; one gas station with a service point and car wash at Amas-Energy LLC; one gas station at Filling Station Management LLC; one gas station at Ingrad Real Estate LLC and one gas station with a service point and car wash at Ukrcarrier LLC.
According to enkorr, in June 2020, BRSM-Nafta bought out 17 of the 22 gas stations at Trade Commodity, which operated under the SKY brand.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 7, 2025, the Antimonopoly Committee adopted a decision at its meeting, recognizing that Marksall LLC (previous name - Dryada Zakhid LLC) and Ligna Ukraine LLC committed a conspiracy during participation in 2 tenders for the purchase of plastic cassettes and the purchase of tags for marking wood, held by the State Specialized Economic Enterprise Forests of Ukraine in 2023 and 2024.
The founder of the BRSM-Nafta gas station network and the sole owner of the BRSM-Nafta TM is Ukrainian entrepreneur Andriy Biba.
The BRSM-Nafta network was founded in 1992, and currently manages 174 gas stations.
