Druzhba pipeline will not be able to operate for at least five days after Ukraine's latest strike - Szijjártó

The latest strike by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on the Druzhba pipeline infrastructure has led to its shutdown for at least five days.

This was stated by Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó.

According to him, over the past few weeks, the Druzhba pipeline infrastructure has been attacked by Ukraine three times.

As a result of the latest strike, oil supplies to Hungary and Slovakia will be stopped for at least five days.

As a reminder, on August 22, it became known that Hungary and Slovakia appealed to the European Union with a demand to respond to Ukraine's attacks on the Druzhba oil pipeline and take measures.
