Zelenskyy names reason for russian missile strike on Mukachevo

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the strike by the aggressor country of russia on the Flex plant in Mukachevo was deliberate and demonstrative in nature. In his opinion, in this way, russian dictator vladimir putin is trying to avoid a meeting at the level of leaders.

"A very demonstrative strike. Like this entire massive attack. Just when the world expects a clear answer from the russians regarding the talks on ending the war," the head of state emphasized in his evening address.

According to Zelenskyy, the target was American property and investments in Ukraine. He emphasized that there are only two possible formats for negotiations at the level of leaders that are capable of bringing real progress: bilateral - between Ukraine and russia, or trilateral - with the participation of the United States. These are the options, he said, that were discussed in Washington, and putin mentioned them in a conversation with Donald Trump.

"(Now) the signals from russia are simply, to be honest, indecent. They are trying to get away from the need to hold a meeting. They do not want to end this war. They continue massive attacks against Ukraine and very tough assaults on the front. And they are also launching missiles at an American enterprise - as well as at many other completely civilian targets of ours," the President emphasized.
