In 2025, deep strikes by Ukraine caused losses to russia of over 4% of GDP - General Staff

Since the beginning of 2025, deep strikes by the Defense Forces of Ukraine have caused losses to the aggressor country of russia of USD 74.1 billion or 4.11% of GDP. This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"This year alone, deep strikes by the Defense Forces of Ukraine caused losses to russia of over 4% of GDP! Every tenth strike took place at a depth of over a thousand kilometers from the state border of Ukraine," the report says.

At the same time, 39.22% of strikes were carried out at a distance of 500-1,000 km, 37.25% - 200-500 km, 13.73% - up to 200 km, 9.8% - over 1,000 km.

Among the affected facilities: 42% - refineries, 37% - storage facilities, 10% - oil pumping stations, 7% - terminals/ports.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that in June the Armed Forces of Ukraine completed 115 missions using DeepStrike (long-range strike drones), in July he noted significant successes in the use of DeepStrike means, according to him, dozens of facilities of the enemy's military-industrial complex were hit.
