Erdoğan to visit Kyiv soon - media

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit Ukraine in the coming days at the invitation of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

This was reported by Türkiye.

The agenda of the visit is expected to include both a free trade agreement and peace efforts in the russian-Ukrainian war.

At the same time, Ukrainian Ambassador to Ankara Nariman Celal said that Erdoğan will visit Kyiv soon and one of the most important issues in the negotiations will be the ratification of the free trade agreement.

It is noted that the free trade agreement will increase trade between the two countries and contribute to the restoration of Ukraine.

As a reminder, the third round of talks between Ukraine and russia took place in Istanbul on July 23. The talks lasted less than an hour. The Ukrainian delegation, headed by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, raised the issue of a ceasefire, the release of prisoners, and the preparation of a meeting of leaders for a just peace.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that the atmosphere during the third round of negotiations with the aggressor country of russia in Istanbul (Turkey) was different and more constructive than the previous two.
