"There is good chance that war in Ukraine will end soon," Tusk

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that there are good chances and many signs that indicate the possibility of ending the russian-Ukrainian war at least in the near future. His words were quoted by TVP Info on Wednesday, July 30.

Tusk visited the Air Force Institute of Technology in Warsaw, which develops and tests modern drones and technologies, protection systems and support for military operations. The politician noted that Poland will not invest "infinitely" money in foreign equipment, but should develop its own defense products. According to him, the country must also be ready to defend itself regardless of the development of events on the russian-Ukrainian front.

"There are good chances, there are many signs that indicate that, perhaps, the russian-Ukrainian war will be stopped at least in the near future. But this does not change our situation in any way," Tusk emphasized.

According to the Prime Minister, Poland should invest in its own companies and use the dual-use defense industry - for military and civilian purposes.
