NAСB detectives helped Boholiubov escape from Ukraine – SSU

Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NAСB) helped the business partner of oligarch Ihor Kolomoiskyi, Hennadii Boholiubov, escape from Ukraine.

The Security Service of Ukraine has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is documented that two NACB officers, subordinate to the head of the NACB detective unit, Oleksandr Skomarov, accompanied Boholiubov when he crossed the state border of Ukraine. They were in the neighboring compartment of the train "for safety reasons"

According to the investigation, this "special operation" was organized by Member of Parliament Fedir Khrystenko.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukrainian oligarch and president of the Dnipro Jewish community Hennadii Boholiubov was put on the international wanted list by the investigator's decision. The Prosecutor General's Office is preparing to send a request to the competent authorities of foreign countries for his extradition to Ukraine. Mosiichuk said that smuggler Seyar Kurshutov helped Boholiubov leave Ukraine illegally. The former co-owner of PrivatBank, Boholiubov, was informed of the suspicion. He left abroad using someone else's passport. Boholiubov said that he does not know whether he will return to Ukraine after the State Bureau of Investigation informed him in absentia of the suspicion of illegally crossing the border.
