In Volyn, man hit territorial recruitment center's employee with shovel and fled
On July 12, in the Kovel district of the Volyn Region, a man, while was under checking military registration documents, struck a territorial recruitment and social support center's employee twice with a shovel and fled.
This was reported by the Volyn regional territorial recruitment center on July 19.
The incident occurred at about 2:00 pm on July 12 in the village of Dubove. In response to the demand to present documents, the man suddenly struck the serviceman twice with a shovel in the face and hands, after which he disappeared from the scene.
The investigative and operational group of the Kovel district police department promptly arrived at the scene. The territorial recruitment center serviceman was taken to the trauma center and was diagnosed with a closed oblique fracture of the main phalanx of the first finger of the right hand without displacement, a stab wound to the right cheek.
Meanwhile, the person who committed the attack was served with suspicion under Part 2 of Article 350 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) is investigating information circulating on social media about a possible incident involving law enforcement officers and territorial recruitment center employees in Chernihiv. The video shows people in uniform using force against men with their hands tied, including one of them being lifted by the legs and thrown to the ground.
Meanwhile, the head of the Podilskyi district territorial recruitment center and a soldier of the Shevchenkivskyi district territorial recruitment center of Kyiv were served with suspicion of beating a mobilized man.
