SBI searched apartment of deceased pilot "Juice", causing his mother hospitalization – Suspilne
On July 11, investigators of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) conducted searches in the apartment of Hero of Ukraine, pilot Andrii "Juice" Pilshchykov. It was reported to Suspilne by the pilot's mother Liliia Averianova on Wednesday, July 16.
The publication writes that the searches in Pilshchykov's apartment are related to the case of the head of the public organization Anti-Corruption Center, Vitalii Shabunin.
"This is an apartment where a child grew up from birth to a professional pilot, you have to take off your hat when you go there. They (investigators) just call me and inform me of the fact that now we will break down your door, because we are looking for a criminal here, literally. They told me to come," Averianova said.
According to her, a neighbor had the keys to the door, and she opened it for investigators.
"This is an old house. This apartment was not damaged by the fascists during that war. It was not broken into by occupiers or looters. But the investigative group had illegal permission to enter this apartment," Averianova noted.
"Juice's" mother noted that friends who came to Kharkiv for work and needed to spend the night often stay in the apartment, the same was the case with Shabunin.
"They brought me to stress. Now I have been hospitalized. Thank you very much for such "honor" and "concern" to those who should have protected me, and not broken into my home. Andrii protected it, protected millions of homes, and risked his life for it. Shame on those who undertook this dirty work," said the pilot's mother.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on August 25, the mother of pilot Andrii Pilshchykov (Juice) Liliia Averianova fulfilled his dream on the anniversary of his death - she visited the cockpit of an F-16 fighter jet.
Recall that the State Bureau of Investigation is investigating a plane crash in the Zhytomyr Region that occurred on August 25, in which three pilots of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed, including the famous pilot Juice.
