Ukraine and US creating joint venture to produce special chemicals for defense - Ukroboronprom

Ukraine and the United States are creating a joint venture to produce special chemicals for the needs of the defense sector. The joint-stock company Ukrainian Defense Industry (Ukroboronprom) announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In particular, it is reported that on July 11 in Rome, on the sidelines of the International Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine (URC 2025), Ukroboronprom and the American company D&M Holding Company signed a document that provides for the creation of a joint venture to produce special chemicals for the needs of the defense sector.

The enterprise will be located in the United States of America and will manufacture products used in the production of ammunition for the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Ukroboronprom notes that this is a fundamentally important step towards overcoming the shortage of special chemicals, which the ammunition industry is currently experiencing.

The document was signed by Ukroboronprom CEO Oleh Huliak and D&M Holding Company CEO Daniel Powers in the presence of U.S. Special Envoy to Ukraine Keith Kellogg, Advisor to the President of Ukraine on Strategic Issues Oleksandr Kamyshin, and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Ukroboronprom David Lomzharia.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in early July, Ukraine agreed with the American company Swift Beat on cooperation in the production of interceptor drones.
