68-year-old woman and 22-year-old police corporal killed in russian attack in Kyiv – Internal Affairs Ministry
Two people were killed in Kyiv during a massive combined attack by russia on the night of July 10, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said. According to him, the number of victims may increase.
As Klymenko specified, two women were killed in the Podilskyi District - a 68-year-old city resident and a 22-year-old police corporal who worked in the metro police.
As a result of the strikes, residential, medical, educational, commercial and transport infrastructure facilities were damaged in eight districts of the capital.
"Unfortunately, the number of victims is growing. More than a dozen people have been injured. People continue to seek medical help," the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.
Police are conducting house-to-house rounds to make sure that all victims have received assistance. Operational headquarters have been deployed at the sites of the strikes.
About 400 rescuers and 90 units of fire-rescue, engineering and robotic equipment of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are involved in the analysis of the rubble and the elimination of the consequences, as well as climbers and pyrotechnicians.
Recall that on the night of July 10, Kyiv was under a combined attack by drones and ballistic missiles. Powerful explosions rang out in the city, fires broke out, and in the morning the capital was enveloped in smoke.
