War will continue this year and move into next – Center for Countering Disinformation head Kovalenko

The war of the aggressor country russia against Ukraine will continue this year and move into the next.

The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council, Andrii Kovalenko, reported this on his Telegram channel on Wednesday, July 2.

Kovalenko noted that French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed the refusal of russian dictator putin to cease fire. According to him, after this, only two options for the development of events remain.

"The options are still simple - either the West acts toughly and will save Europe from the invasion of russian-DPRK troops into the Baltics in 4-6 years and will break russia's spine with us through force. Or we can continue to pretend that there is some kind of NATO umbrella, which is already technologically starting to lag behind modern warfare. Unfortunately, the war will continue this year and move into the next. This is the reality," the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation wrote.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in June this year, russian occupiers seized 556 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory.

On June 30, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the occupiers failed to implement their offensive plan in the Sumy Region.

As a reminder, on June 30, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andrii Kovalenko, said that russian dictator vladimir putin wants to destroy all of Ukraine, not seize its individual regions.
