Russians destroy humanitarian aid hub in Zaporizhzhia strike, causing USD 3 million in damage
Russian occupiers struck a humanitarian aid warehouse in Zaporizhzhia on the night of June 14. Damage was estimated at USD 3 million.
Radio Svoboda reports this.
According to the founder of the BELUGA UA NGO, Oleksandr Beliuha, the warehouse was hit by three russian Shaheds.
"Everything burned down. We had just received five trucks of aid, that's a hundred tons," he said.
Damage from the enemy attack is estimated at USD 3 million.
The BELUGA UA team began its activities almost from the very beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The organization provided assistance to IDPs, at the hit sites, and to residents of frontline zones.
BELUGA UA was a partner of the international organization World Central Kitchen in the region.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, last night the russians launched 58 drones over Ukraine, and air defense forces neutralized 43 of them. The main areas of the strikes were the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia Regions.
