Almost hundred clashes take place on front since beginning of day – daily AFU General Staff report
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 98 times. It is most active on the Lyman, Pokrovsk, Novopavlivka and Kursk axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The border areas of our country have been affected by russian artillery shelling, in particular the settlements of Halahanivka in the Chernihiv Region; Hirky, Prokhody, Turia, Uhroidy, Bratenytsia in the Sumy Region. The enemy carried out an air strike on the areas of Medvedivka and Velyka Pysarivka.
On the Kharkiv axis, the enemy is trying to advance to the positions of our defenders in the area of Kamianka and in the direction of the settlements of Lyptsi, Krasne Pershe. Two attacks have been repelled, one clash is ongoing.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy tried in vain to advance towards Holubivka.
On the Lyman axis, Ukrainian units repelled five attacks in the areas of Yampolivka, Serebrianskyi Forest and towards the settlements of Olhivka, Novyi Myr, Torske, Shandryholove. Five more attacks are ongoing at this time.
On the Siversk axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled an enemy attack. Units of the occupiers tried to advance towards Hryhorivka.
At present, five enemy assaults have taken place on the Kramatorsk axis. The enemy attacked towards Stupochky and Bila Hora.
On the Toretsk axis, the russian occupiers have carried out eight assaults on the positions of our defenders in the area of Dyliivka, Toretsk and in the axes of Pleshchiivka and Yablunivka. Ukrainian units repelled five attacks, three clashes are ongoing.
On the Pokrovsk axes, since the beginning of the day, the invaders have already launched 35 attacks on the positions of our defenders in the areas of the settlements of Malynivka, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novoserhiivka, Udachne, Horikhove and in the direction of Myrne, Novoukrainka, Muravka, Oleksiivka. Restraining the enemy's onslaught, the Ukrainian defenders have already repelled 27 attacks. The enemy launched an air strike in the area of the settlement of Krynycha.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the invaders have launched 14 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian troops near the settlements of Rozlyv, Bahatyr, Novosilka and in the drection of Shevchenko, Vilne Pole. Our soldiers have already repelled 11 attacks. The fighting is not ceasing.
On the Huliaipole axis, the enemy launched air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Huliaipole and Poltavka.
On the Orikhiv axis, the enemy launched air strikes in the area of Kamianske.
On the Dnieper axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy attack that attempted to advance in the area of the Antonivskyi Bridge.
On the Kursk axis, our defenders repelled 18 attacks by the invaders, two clashes are ongoing. In addition, the enemy carried out four air strikes, dropping nine guided bombs, and carried out 143 artillery attacks, including one from multiple launch rocket systems.
On other axes, no significant changes are currently noted.
