Ukraine holds new exchange: seriously wounded and sick soldiers returned home

On June 12, another prisoner exchange took place between Ukraine and the aggressor country of russia. Seriously wounded and seriously ill Ukrainian soldiers returned home.

This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on his Telegram channel.

Among the released are servicemen of the Armed Forces, the National Guard and the State Border Guard Service.

"Everyone needs treatment, and they will definitely be provided with the necessary assistance. This is the second stage of the return of seriously wounded and seriously ill soldiers. We continue to work to return everyone from russian captivity. We thank everyone who helps make these exchanges possible," the President wrote.

As a reminder, on June 2, Ukraine and the aggressor country of russia agreed to exchange all seriously wounded prisoners of war, as well as all young soldiers aged 18-25.
