RF launches 49 drones, one Oniks missile and two guided aerial missiles over Ukraine at night. What were directions of air strike?
On the night of June 8, russia launched 49 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types over Ukraine. An Oniks anti-ship missile was also launched from the airspace of the occupied Crimea, and two Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missiles were launched from the airspace of the Zaporizhzhia Region. This was reported by the press center of the Air Force Command.
The department also named the main directions of the air strike - Kharkiv and Donetsk Regions. Enemy air attack vehicles were hit in 5 locations.
As of 09:00 am, air defenses neutralized 40 enemy Shahed UAVs (drones of other types) in the east, south, north and center of the country. 22 - shot down by fire weapons, 18 - lost/suppressed by electronic warfare. Today, the air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit a russian locomotive with military equipment, destroying more than 10 tanks.
