Ukraine reduces electricity exports by over 40% to almost 93,000 MWh In May
In May, compared to April, Ukraine reduced electricity exports by over 40% to 92,500 MWh.
This is stated in the ExPro publication, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The report states that the largest amount of electricity was exported to Hungary, almost 37% of the total volume.
Compared to the previous month, exports to Moldova decreased the most.
Compared to May 2024, electricity exports increased 22 times.
It is noted that electricity imports in May increased by 3.6% compared to April.
Imports from Moldova and Slovakia increased the most, however, the largest share continues to be occupied by the Hungarian direction, 40%.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in April, compared to March, Ukraine reduced electricity imports by 31% to 187 thousand MWh.
