Ukrainian delegation arrives in Istanbul for talks with russians
On Monday, June 2, the Ukrainian delegation arrived in Istanbul (Turkey) for the second round of talks with the aggressor country of russia. This was told to journalists by the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heorhii Tykhyi, according to European Pravda.
"The Ukrainian delegation has arrived in Istanbul. The meeting is scheduled for this afternoon," the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov will lead the Ukrainian delegation at the talks with representatives of the aggressor country of russia, which will take place today, June 2, in Istanbul.
Meanwhile, Reuters has published the full text of the document that Ukraine will present in Istanbul. In particular, Ukraine will propose a complete ceasefire for at least 30 days, after which there should be a return of all prisoners and Ukrainian children taken to territory controlled by russia, followed by a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and russian dictator vladimir putin.
It was also reported that a russian delegation arrived in Istanbul on June 1.
