France resumes supply of aviation fuel for fighters of Defense Forces - Defense Ministry

France has resumed the supply of aviation kerosene for the fighters of the Defense Forces. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

It is noted that the Department of Monitoring of International Military Assistance of the Ministry of Defense in cooperation with the Command of the Logistics Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine processed the necessary list of documents, confirmed the receipt of preliminary volumes of aviation fuel and the current need to ensure the fleet of fighter jets in the units of the Defense Forces.

"Thanks to these measures, France has resumed the supply of high-quality aviation fuel, the volumes of which will be enough for a long time to provide Ukrainian fighters. The next batch, estimated at UAH 85 million, has already crossed the border the other day. This is also facilitated by Polish partners, who have taken on part of the logistical costs and other organizational issues," the message says.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in February, French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced that the first French Mirage 2000 fighters were already in Ukraine.
