164 combat clashes take place at front during day, hottest was in Pokrovsk, Novopavlivsk and Lyman Axes

On May 20, 164 combat clashes took place at the front, the enemy attacked the most in the Pokrovsk (44 clashes), Novopavlivsk (33) and Lyman (30) Axes.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Over the past day, the enemy launched one missile and 70 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, used one missile and dropped 116 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the enemy carried out 5,174 shelling, in particular, 149 from multiple launch rocket systems, and involved about 3,048 kamikaze drones for strikes.

On May 20, 164 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.

Thus, in the Kharkiv Axis, the enemy tried three times to break through the defensive lines in the Vovchansk area and in the direction of Stroivka.

In the Kupyansk Axis, one attack of the invaders in the area of ​​Nova Kruhliakivka was repelled.

In the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked 30 times in the areas of the settlements of Kopanky, Ridkodub, Novyi Myr, Hrekivka, Zelena Dolyna, Yampolivka, Torske.

In the Siversk Axis, the enemy made one attempt to advance in the area of ​​Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, the occupiers attacked 6 times in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Kurdiumivka and towards Predtechyne and Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy made 14 attacks in the areas of Druzhba, Petrivka and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, the defenders stopped 44 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Yablunivka, Novoolenivka, Malynivka, Shevchenko Pershe, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirove, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Troitske, Kotliarivka and Andriivka.

In the Novopavlivsk Axis, the enemy carried out 33 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vilne Pole, Pryvilne, Zelene Pole, Kostiantynopil, Bahatyr, Burlatske, Vesele and towards Odradne.

In the Huliaipole Axis, Ukrainian units repelled 2 assault actions in the Vysoke area.

In the Orikhiv Axis, 2 attacks were repelled near Novoandriivka and Mali Shcherbaky.

In the Prydniprovsk Axis, one attack was repelled.

In the Kursk Axis (russian federation), Ukrainian soldiers repelled 13 attacks of the invaders.

The enemy also carried out 19 airstrikes here, dropping 40 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 261 shelling, four of which were from MLRS.

Over the past day, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 9 areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment.

In total, the losses of the russian invaders on May 20 amounted to 980 people.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 19, 177 combat clashes took place at the front, with the enemy attacking most of the time in the Pokrovsk (72 clashes), Lyman (23), and Novopavlivsk (22) Axes.
