In 2024, number of Zelenskyy's trips abroad increased sharply. Times counts visits of Ukrainian President

Since taking office in 2019, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has made 134 foreign visits, of which 48 were during the past year. This was reported by the British newspaper Times, citing data from the Office of the President.

Most often, the head of state visited Germany, France, the USA, Poland and Belgium. In 2025, Zelenskyy has already made 23 foreign trips to 18 countries.

As the Times notes, most of the Ukrainian President's international visits were related to the war, sanctions against russia and support from allies.

Oleksandr Merezhko, the head of the parliamentary committee on foreign policy and interparliamentary cooperation, suggested in a comment to the publication that foreign trips allow Zelenskyy to "refresh himself." At the same time, he noted that although the President still "radiates the same energy as always," there is now "a certain sadness in him that wasn't there before."
