Ukrainian Special Operations Forces FPV drone hits russian Ka-52 helicopter: video of attack released
Operators of the Bombus Balista unit from the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine successfully hit a russian Ka-52 "Alligator" combat helicopter using an FPV drone.
The attack itself and the moment the UAV hit the occupiers' helicopter were released on social networks.
The servicemen of the Bombus Balista unit reported that the russian Ka-52 was attempting to patrol Ukrainian positions, but its plans were not destined to come true.
The "Alligator" tried to arrange a "combat patrol" over Ukrainian fields. But it did not take into account the main thing - a group of "Bombus" tactical attack helicopters was already waiting in the sky, the soldiers noted.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 24 of this year, russian attack helicopters were hit by HIMARS missile strikes. According to the Ukrainian military, as a result of a joint operation by the Special Operations Forces, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Missile Forces, and artillery, two enemy Ka-52 helicopters and two Mi-8 were destroyed.
