In Q1, negative balance of foreign trade in goods worsened by USD 3,115.7 million to USD 8,514.8 million

In January-March 2025, imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 3,115.7 million.

This was announced by the State Statistics Service, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

During January-March 2025, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 3,115.7 million compared to January-March 2024 (in January-March 2024, the negative balance was USD 5,399.1 million).

Exports of goods in January-March amounted to USD 9,952.7 million, while it decreased by 6.9% compared to January-March 2024.

Imports of goods in January-March amounted to USD 18,467.5 million, an increase of 14.7%.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January-February 2025, imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 5,014.4 million.

During 2024, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 1,634 million compared to 2023 (in 2023, the negative balance was USD 27,384.1 million).
