166 combat clashes take place at front during day, most of them in Pokrovsk and Novopavlivsk Axes

On May 12, 166 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest Axes were Pokrovsk (60 clashes) and Novopavlivsk (24).

This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Over the past day, the enemy carried out 78 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 141 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, the enemy carried out more than 5,400 shelling, 103 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3,058 kamikaze drones for strikes.

On May 12, 166 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.

Thus, in the Kharkiv Axis, Ukrainian troops repelled seven russian attacks in the areas of Vovchansk and Krasne Pershe.

In the Kupyansk Axis, five enemy attacks took place.

The Defense Forces repelled enemy assault actions near Pishchane, Hlushkivka, and Novoosynove.

In the Lyman Axis, the invaders attacked 20 times, trying to advance towards the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Hrekivka, Ridkodub, Torske, Kolodyazi, Zelena Dolyna, Nadiya, Lypove, Novomykhailivka, Yampolivka, and in the direction of Olhivka.

In the Siversk Axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled six enemy attacks.

The invaders' units tried to advance towards Hryhorivka and in the area of ​​Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk Axis, four clashes were recorded near Vasiukivka, Chasiv Yar, and in the direction of Bilohorivka and Predtechyne.

In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy carried out nine attacks in the areas of Dyliyivka, Petrivka and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk Axis, the Ukrainian defenders stopped 60 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Nova Poltavka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Myrnohrad, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Novooleksandrivka, Kotliarivka, Troitske, Andriivka, Stara Mykolaivka, Malynovka, Yelyzavetivka, Popiv Yar, Novomykolaivka, Muravka, Oleksiivka.

In the Novopavlivsk Axis, the Defense Forces repelled 24 enemy attacks near Kostiantynopil, Bahatyr, Zelene Pole, Novosilky and in the direction of Shevchenko.

In the Orikhiv Axis, the enemy carried out six attacks in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Mali Shcherbaky and in the direction of Pavlivka; they were unsuccessful.

In the Prydniprovsk Axis, the aggressor made four futile attempts to advance to the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Nine combat clashes of varying intensity took place in the Kursk Axis (russian federation).

In addition, the enemy launched 18 air strikes here using 20 guided aerial bombs, and also carried out 254 artillery attacks, including eight with MLRS.

The russians did not conduct offensive operations in the Huliaipole Axis.

Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 12 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, three artillery pieces, two communication nodes and three other important objects of the russian invaders.

In total, the losses of the russian occupiers on May 12 amounted to 1,070 people.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 11, 155 combat clashes took place at the front, most of them in the Pokrovsk (70 clashes) and Lyman (25) Axes.
