Rada Foreign Policy Committee will consider ratification of mineral agreement tomorrow
The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Foreign Policy and Interparliamentary Cooperation will consider the ratification of the agreement with the United States of America on minerals at its meeting on May 6.
Iryna Herashchenko, a member of the committee and co-chair of the European Solidarity faction, announced this on her Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"On Tuesday, May 6, a meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committee will be held to consider the Mineral Agreement," she wrote.
Herashchenko stressed the need for a transparent discussion of the document and its technical annexes before making a final decision in parliament.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Verkhovna Rada member from the Holos faction Yaroslav Zhelezniak claims that parliament will vote for ratification of the mineral agreement on Thursday, May 8.
The Cabinet of Ministers asks the Verkhovna Rada to ratify the agreement on minerals by May 8.
As a reminder, Svyrydenko previously explained how the investment fund will function within the framework of the agreement on minerals with the United States.
