AFU hit 62 targets in russia in April with DeepStrike means – Syrskyi
In April, the forces of unmanned systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit 62 targets on the territory of russia with DeepStrike means (long-range strike drones).
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, announced this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Our artillery, aviation, unmanned systems, and other components of complex fire destruction are actively working. Thus, in April, 62 targets were hit on the territory of the Russian Federation with DeepStrike means - we are destroying military facilities, undermining the capabilities of the aggressor's military-industrial complex," he said.
Syrskyi noted that April was another month of increasing the UAV direction, optimizing the AFU management system, and strengthening personnel training.
According to him, the scaling of units to brigades with a reinforced unmanned component is ongoing.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Syrskyi previously announced that in March the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out 158 strikes using DeepStrike weapons.
In December, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov reported that in 2025, more than 30,000 long-range strike drones, the so-called DeepStrike, will be delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
