Russia launches 5 ballistic missiles and 170 UAVs at Ukraine at night – Air Forces
On the night of Thursday, May 1, the russians attacked Ukraine with 5 Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Crimea, 170 strike UAVs and other types of simulator drones from the areas: Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Chauda.
This is stated in the message of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare equipment and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 8:30 a.m., it was confirmed that 74 Shahed strike UAVs (other types of drones) were shot down in the east, north, south and center of the country.
In addition, 68 enemy drones-simulators were lost in location (without negative consequences).
The Air Forces noted that the Odesa, Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk and Kyiv Regions were affected by the enemy attack.
