Health Ministry receives request from Defense Ministry to annul booking of individual medical workers

The Ministry of Defense and the Medical Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sent a request to the Ministry of Health regarding the annulment of the booking of individual medical workers. Consultations are currently being held to form lists.

The press service of the Ministry of Health has reported this.

The topic of releasing workers was discussed during a working meeting of the Minister of Health Viktor Liashko with the heads of regional health departments.

At the beginning of the year, the Government allowed the booking of 100% of medical workers in state and municipal healthcare institutions.

At the same time, to ensure the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the defense sector in medical workers, a mechanism has been developed for releasing individual medical workers who are in need.

"Currently, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has received a corresponding request from the Ministry of Defense and the Command of the Medical Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Specialists of the Ministry of Health, in coordination with the departments of health, are conducting consultations to form lists for de-booking," the Ministry of Health said.

We will remind, earlier the Cabinet of Ministers increased the booking of utility workers to 75%.
