Son of senior CIA official killed in ranks of russian army in war against Ukraine
A US citizen, Michael Gloss, was killed in the war against Ukraine. He was the son of Juliane Gloss, deputy head of one of the departments of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), namely the Digital Innovations Department. He fought on the side of the russian federation.
This is stated in the investigation of the russian publication Important Stories.
Michael Gloss, having a family background associated with American military structures (his father, Larry Gloss, is a veteran of the US Navy, a participant in Operation Desert Storm), was active in the scout movement since childhood and, according to his parents, had a "sharp sense of justice".
The deceased was an environmental activist, spoke out for women's rights and dropped out of college, stating that he wanted to travel the world. He visited Cyprus, Bulgaria, Turkey (where in 2023 he helped as a volunteer after an earthquake).
According to journalists, in adulthood, Michael began to criticize US policy, calling violence an integral part of it.
In 2023, having received a visa, he went to russia. After visiting Vladikavkaz and a number of other cities, he stopped in Moscow, where, according to available information, he signed a contract with the russian army. In the end, he was killed during hostilities on Ukrainian territory.
As a reminder, as of Friday morning, April 25, the russians had lost 1,170 soldiers and more than 241 units of military equipment at the front.
