Defense Intelligence names three things that Kremlin really afraid of
The leadership of the aggressor country, russia, is really afraid of three things. These are challenges related to the stability of the regime of dictator vladimir putin and the split of the country.
As RBC-Ukraine writes, Vadym Skibitskyi, Deputy Head of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, stated this at the Kyiv StratCom Forum.
"The russian leadership is afraid of several factors - these are what they consider to be challenges and threats for themselves," Skibitskyi said.
According to him, the Kremlin has three main fears. The first is the destabilization of the current regime and a change of power.
The second fear of the Kremlin is related to destabilization within russia itself, since it is a multinational country.
The third challenge is related to the intention of the russian leadership to prevent a split or collapse of the state. The Kremlin wants to preserve russia as it is.
"And they consider these threats to be external, both in terms of information and military. That is why they oppose Ukraine's accession to NATO, as they see it as a real threat to their territorial integrity," Skibitskyi added.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the day before, the press secretary of the russian dictator Dmitry Peskov stated that Ukraine's possible membership in NATO allegedly threatens russia's security.
We will remind, the day before, the French presidential office stated that the issue of Ukraine's territorial integrity is a European demand in the negotiations to end the war.
