Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the aggressor country of russia has killed 13,000 civilians, including 618 children. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at the conference "Ukraine: Reinvent. Innovate. Leapfrog" at the Ukraine House in Washington.

He also said that the russian federation has carried out 1,700 attacks on schools, more than 780 attacks on hospitals, more than 30 massive and hundreds of smaller attacks on the Ukrainian energy sector.

"Every day, more than a hundred combat clashes take place at the front line. Our soldiers are restraining enemy forces and inflicting huge losses on them. Since 2022, the capacity of our defense industry has increased 35 times, and now we already produce 40% of all weapons for the Ukrainian army," he wrote.

Shmyhal noted that russia must pay double, not only in money for the destruction caused.

"We want the russians who commit crimes to answer personally before the court. Including the top military and political leadership of the russian federation. This is necessary for both Europe and America, so that in the future the world is safe, so that our children live in peace," he added.
