President Zelenskyy responds to putin's statement regarding alleged order for "ceasefire"

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy was quite skeptical about the kremlin regime's statement regarding a "truce" for the Easter holidays.

He wrote about this on Saturday, April 19, commenting on his social networks on the words of russian dictator vladimir putin about the alleged order to the russian army to "ceasefire" for the Easter holidays.

Thus, the head of state noted that the "peacemaking initiative" from moscow came against the backdrop of another missile and drone attack by the russian armed forces.

"Regarding Putin's next attempt to play with people's lives, an air alert is now spreading across the territory of Ukraine. At 5:15 p.m., Russian strike drones were detected in our sky. Ukrainian air defense and aviation have already begun to work to protect. Shaheds in our sky are Putin's true attitude to Easter," the President noted.

At the same time, he spoke about the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi on the operation of Ukrainian forces on the territory of the russian federation.

"Our forces continued their activity in the Kursk Oblast today and are maintaining their positions. In the Belgorod Oblast, our military advanced and increased our zone of control," Volodymyr Zelenskyy added.
