Dzhigurda, Shaman, Rastorguev and Rosenbaum. Zelenskyy imposes sanctions on 20 russian artists and athletes
Today, April 18, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree on the implementation of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on the application of personal sanctions against 20 russian actors, singers and athletes. Decree No. 246 was published on the website of the Office of the President.
In particular, the sanctions list includes:
- Vitaliy Gogunskiy – an actor, known for his role as Kuzya in the Univer TV series, actively supports the war against Ukraine, in particular, publicly repeats russian narratives and visits occupied territories, where he entertains the invaders;
- Nikita Dzhigurda – an actor, actively participates in anti-Ukrainian events aimed at justifying and legitimizing the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine.
- Yaroslav Dronov – a singer, known under the pseudonym SHAMAN, publicly supports and promotes the war of the aggressor country russia against Ukraine, performs at concerts and mass rallies in support of dictator putin;
- Yuri Kuklachov – an actor, repeatedly visited Crimea after its occupation and supported the aggression of the russian federation;
- Oskar Kuchera – an actor, visited Crimea after its occupation and publicly supported the war against Ukraine;
- Nikolay Rastorguev – a singer and former member of the State Duma of the russian federation;
- Alexander Rosenbaum – a singer and a member of the State Duma of the russian federation, publicly supported the war against Ukraine.
Also on the sanctions list are the following:
- Irina Apeksimova – an actress and director;
- Sofya Velikaya – a fencer;
- Yelena Välbe – a skier, Olympic champion;
- Egor Konchalovsky – a film director and screenwriter;
- Denis Lebedev – a boxer;
- Yevgeny Mironov – a theater actor;
- Nikita Nagornyy – a gymnast;
- Aleksandr Pankratov-Chyorny – an actor and film director;
- Sergey Polunin – a ballet dancer;
- Ruslan Provodnikov – a boxer;
- Igor Sukachov – a rock musician, actor, director;
- Nikolay Tsiskaridze – a ballet dancer;
- Roman Chumakov – a rapper (known as Zhigan).
The sanctions, in particular, provide for the blocking of assets, restrictions on the ability to conduct trade and other operations, do business, buy real estate, etc. Also, russians who have state awards of Ukraine will be deprived of them.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the National Security and Defense Council previously imposed sanctions against officials of the Yanukovych era, the former owner of Gulliver, and a shareholder of IBOX Bank.
