216 combat clashes take place on front during day, 80 of them on Pokrovsk axis
On April 2, 216 combat clashes took place on the front, the enemy attacked the most on the Pokrovsk (80 clashes), Kursk and Toretsk (28 attacks each) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched 2 missile strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, as well as 85 air strikes, in particular, dropping 123 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out almost 6,400 attacks, 107 of them from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,377 kamikaze drones to strike.
On April 2, 216 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, two clashes took place near the settlement of Vovchansk and towards Kamianka.
On the Kupiansk axis, four attacks by the invaders were recorded during the day.
The defense forces repelled the enemy's assault actions on the areas of the settlements of Zahryzove and Nova Kruhliakivka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 21 times, trying to advance near Nadiia, Torske, Novoiehorivka, Kolodiazi, Yampolivka, Novoliubivka and Dibrova.
On the Siversk axis, the defense forces repelled five assault actions by enemy troops on the areas of Bilohorivka and Verkhniokamianske.
On the Kramatorsk axis, six enemy assault actions took place on the area of Chasiv Yar and towards Novomarkove, Stupochky and Predtechyne.
On the Toretsk axis, the russians carried out 28 attacks on the areas of Toretsk, Ozarianivka, Dyliivka, Krymske and Leonidivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 80 attacks by the aggressor on the areas of the settlements of Panteleimonivka, Sukha Balka, Shevchenko, Vodiane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Zelene, Novyi Trud, Kotlyne, Udachne, Kotliarivka, Uspenivka and Andriivka.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the Defense Forces repelled 13 enemy assaults on the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Dniproenerhiia, Vesele and Burlatske.
On the Huliaipole axis, near Pryvilne and Novosilka, the Defense Forces successfully repelled five attacks.
On the Orikhiv axis, in the areas of the settlements of Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, Kamianske and Novodanylivka, the invaders carried out 12 assaults on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On the Dnieper axis, the aggressor tried to advance to the positions of the Ukrainian defenders five times.
On the Kursk axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 28 enemy attacks.
The enemy launched 343 artillery attacks here, five of them from MLRS, and carried out 20 air strikes, dropping 31 KABs.
On April 2, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck eight areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment, a UAV control point and an artillery system of the occupiers.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders over the past day amounted to 1,390 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on April 1, 176 combat clashes took place at the front, the largest number of which was on the Pokrovsk (64 clashes) and Kursk (18) axes.
