Russian troops attack Kharkiv with strike drones at night, 9 people injured, including 3 children

On the night of Wednesday, April 2, the russian occupiers carried out a massive strike with drones on the Kholodnohirskyi District of Kharkiv, damaging civilian enterprises and more than 10 residential buildings, injuring 9 people, including three children.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov, and the Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov announced this on Telegram, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The prosecutor's office said that on April 2, from 12:20 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., russian troops carried out a large-scale attack with strike drones on Kharkiv.

The enemy was targeting the Kholodnohirskyi District of the city.

"Buildings and warehouses of civilian enterprises, more than 10 private residential buildings, outbuildings, and cars were damaged," the report says.

Five women, one man, 9-month-old and 7-year-old boys, and a 16-year-old girl suffered acute stress reactions.

It has been previously established that the russian army used a Geran-2 UAV to attack the city.

According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, as a result of the UAV strikes, a private house was hit, and the roof of a 4-story building with an area of ​​​​1,000 sq. m and a building with an area of ​​​​500 sq. m. burned.

And Terekhov reported that according to the city Situation Center, 15 drone strikes were carried out on Kharkiv.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 31, russian invaders massively attacked Kharkiv with strike drones, causing fires and destruction of civilian objects, three people were injured.
