We want to end this war as soon as possible and with dignity - Zelenskyy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine wants to end the current war as soon as possible and with dignity.
He said this at the Bucha-2025 summit, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"We all want to end this war as soon as possible with guaranteed security, which is very important - with lasting peace and with dignity," he said.
According to him, a dignified end to the war means that russia should not receive benefits or rewards from this war and should not avoid fair responsibility.
Zelenskyy reported that more than 100,183 crimes related to the russian federation's aggression have already been recorded, noting that this is without access to a significant part of the temporarily occupied territory.
The President called for continued pressure on russia and sanctions against it, "so that the war and cruelty do not expand."
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Speaker of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom, Lindsay Hoyle, is convinced that a peace agreement should be on terms acceptable to the people of Ukraine.
Hoyle also believes that russia is not serious about a ceasefire.
