Russia begins manipulating ceasefire agreements on day of talks — Zelenskyy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the aggressor country russia has already begun manipulating the agreements on a ceasefire in the Black Sea and a ban on strikes on energy infrastructure.
The head of state said this in his traditional video address to Ukrainians.
According to him, there are clear statements about the above agreements. They were published by the White House.
"And there is something that the Kremlin is lying about again: that supposedly the silence in the Black Sea depends on the issue of sanctions and that supposedly the date of the beginning of the silence on energy is March 18. Moscow always lies," Zelenskyy said.
The President added that russia began manipulating the agreements on the day of the talks, trying to "twist" them and deceive the whole world.
Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine and the United States have agreed to stop strikes on energy facilities. It was supposed to begin after the White House publishes a corresponding message.
Recall that a few hours ago the kremlin published a list of energy facilities that are prohibited from being attacked. Moscow stated that the list was allegedly agreed with the US, and the moratorium on strikes itself allegedly began to operate on March 18.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, today, March 25, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov stated that during negotiations in Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, the US, and russia agreed to implement a ban on strikes on energy infrastructure.
The day before, President Zelenskyy said what Ukraine would do if the aggressor country russia violates agreements to stop strikes on energy facilities or a ceasefire in the Black Sea.
